The publication says that Star Wars Battlefront players will soon be headed to Tatooine, the desert home planet of Luke Skywalker. The news comes from a video posted by EA Brasil and though the video now seems to have been deleted, WCCFtech translated the video's contents. With publisher Electronic Arts confident that it will hit its 13 million sales prediction, clearly something needs to be done to reel people in, which is perhaps why Star Wars Battlefront players are about to get some new DLC. However, there are reports claiming that the game's sales have underperformed.
With fans eager to play a new Battlefront game ( Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron was released all the way back in 2009) it's unsurprising that Star Wars Battlefront was one of the most highly anticipated games of the last 18 months. As EA looks to keep Star Wars Battlefront's playerbase occupied, a free DLC drop is reportedly in the works, including a Tatooine map, new events, and outfits for Luke and Leia.
